Nau Mai, Haere Mai Ki Aotearoa, Welcome to New Zealand.
We are proud to support the Paper Rain Project at Chill by stocking their beautiful recycled skateboards. Made in a local cherry farm workshop, these unique 'classic-shaped' wall-hanging art boards are crafted from locally grown sustainable macrocarpa, recycled rimu or recycled Marlborough wine barrels. The artworks are either laser etched or painstakingly hand-painted as one of a kind artworks. For each board sold, a donation is made towards the native replanting of areas affected by the 2019 Nelson bushfires.
Kea are New Zealand’s alpine treasures. The Kea Conservation Trust works in collaboration with others, to preserve and protect these unique birds, both in their natural habitat and in captivity. To make this vision of a sustainable future for kea a reality however, we need your support! When purchasing your 2020 Chill Pass, you have the option to donate to the Kea Conservation Trust. Please considering helping this beautiful mountain parrot!
Studio Reset Artwork
We are proud to have a few pieces of art from Studio Reset in the shop for sale. This artwork is an encaustic medium, meaning that it mixes photography with a wax-based medium making unique pieces of art. The artist is based in the Kapiti Coast of New Zealand, so all of the work is done locally. How cool!
