Travel between Ski Areas
If you’re unfamiliar with how to get to Mt Olympus follow this link http://www.mtolympus.co.nz/getting_here.asp . If you’re unfamiliar with how to get to Craigieburn follow this link http://www.craigieburn.co.nz/mountain/directions .
Traveling between venues will take approximately 1.5 – 2hrs to get to Craigieburn carpark from Mt Olympus if you are traveling through the Lyndon Road. The road remains “closed” in winter but is fine to drive it so long as there has not been a recent snowfall. We will be traveling through it so there will be a convoy making it’s way through this road. If it is impassable add an additional 40 min travel time on as you’ll have to detour via Sheffield.
