Porters
The Gromfest is a series of three competitions for young skiers and snowboarders aged 6-12 years. The aim of Gromfest is for the young competitors to have fun whilst boosting their snow skills.
The first event was held a Porters on Sunday the 24th of July. Some of the competitors took part in a Big Mountain camp on the Saturday coached by Neil Williman, Tove Kockum and Seth Piercey in preparation for the comp. Unfortunately the weather had other plans for the big mountain competition so as the viability deteriorated the call was made to run a giant slalom and slope style session.
Check out the photos and results below from the Porters leg of the Gromfest. If you’d like to participate in the upcoming events at Roundhill and Mt Cheeseman simply show up on the day and say hi.
