What's happening around the Chill mountains?

Are you excited? We’re excited!
The snow keeps coming and all of the Chill mountains, except for Hanmer, are still open..

All the mountain crews are working hard to keep the roads and fields clear, so keep an eye put for their daily updates.
Now is the time to check off the gear list and make sure the snow chains fit, the skiing is going to be epic!

Here’s a round up of what’s happening around the Chill Mountains.

Rainbow is still looking great.





Mt Lyford - got a good snow cover for some nice spring skiing.





Hanmer Springs  had a great season and closed 3rd of September.





Cheeseman - Coming up on the 16th of September is the Cheeseman Undie 500.
Prizes for best undressed Guy, Girl, Team and more!

Overnight accommodation including dinner, bed, breakfast and lunch the next day is available on the mountain at Snowline Lodge. See you there!

Broken River - has some great snow up there and is running the annual RiderX this Saturday, 16th September.

Craigieburn Valley - has a great offer for members this weekend: Free accommodation this Saturday 16th September.
A BBQ Style dinner and a party will be held. Non-members are welcome, just must pay as normal.

Temple Basin
- The lovely Mel Parsons is set to play at Temple Basin on Saturday 16th September. Accommodation will no doubt book out quickly so get your skates on!

Mt Olympus has a lot of snow up there.





Fox Peak got some more snow this past weekend, let's see what this weekend has to offer.





Mt Dobson has the Dobson Dash coming up on the 24th of September.





Awakino -
is looking good! The freshly fixed tow is all go. Bookings required!

Treble Cone
looks like some beautiful spring skiing up there.
The Spy Banked Slalom Race is coming up on 23rd September.




- Oktoberfest is coming up on Sunday 24th September. A true Porters tradition! Strap on your Lederhosen, German frock and head on up for some fun in the sun, gourmet German food and beer and great German tunes. Happening at the Porters' cafe from 12pm so plan your lunch around being there!
