This is our weekly update on what is happening around the mountains.

It has been a great week with lots of blue sky but we are definitely ready for some more snow. Bring it on!

RAINBOW

Rainbow, are all go and looking great! Retro day this weekend so dig out that neon gear and head on up.

 


 

Hanmer Springs

 Unfortunately Hanmer have had to go on hold with an update coming Monday 23 July unless there is snow beforehand in which case they'll update immediately.

 

Don't forget the Snow Ball is coming up on the 28th of July, celebrating 61 years of Hanmer Springs Ski Area! Last we heard there are only a few tickets left.

Mt Lyford

Lyford is living up to its sunny reputation.

 


 

Porters


Porters are all go! Including Porters Lodge on the access road, a great place to stay or call in for a beer.

 

 


 

Cheeseman

It looks like a great time has been had by all at Cheeseman this week!

 

 


 

Broken River

Great to see Harry at Broken River!

 


 

Craigieburn Valley

Craigieburn are open, sweet!

 

 


 

Temple Basin

Temple Basin have announced they will be open Wednesday 25 July. Check out the latest here.


 

Mount Olympus

Mt Olympus opened on Sunday. It looks like it has been an awesome week up there!

About the Chill Mountains & Chill Pass:

Chill Full Season and Travel Passes offer great value skiing and riding in New Zealand's Southern Alps.

The Chill6 accesses the 6 Ski Areas in the Selwyn District; Porters, Cheeseman, Broken River, Craigieburn Valley*, Temple Basin and Mt Olympus.

The Chill12 accesses the six ski areas above plus Rainbow, Hanmer Springs, Mt Lyford, Fox Peak, Mt Dobson and Awakino.

The Chill Travel Pass accesses the 12 mountains on the Chill12 Pass as well as Treble Cone. Up to two days on the Chill Travel Pass can be used at Treble Cone and two days at Porters. The Chill Travel Student Pass cannot be used at Porters in the weekends.

Chill Season Passes can be upgraded to include two days at Treble Cone.
